30 hours free childcare - reconfirm problem

Just logged in to reconfirm eligibility for 30 hours free childcare, and it is now prompting me to tick that I no longer receive childcare vouchers.
I currently receive edenred salary sacrifice childcare vouchers/
I cannot find any information about eligibility for 30 hours childcare and childcare vouchers. I previously indicated that I did receive them, so it seems like a possible retrospective change.
I am in a tricky situation, as 30 hours childcare is far more valuable than childcare vouchers. However I am only able to opt out of childcare vouchers once a year in September.
Has anyone else seen this change or able to offer any advice? Thanks

It's a known problem apparently.
I ended up calling the helpline who told me to tick yes and it created me a tax free childcare account. I was told as long as I didn't use it, it was fine - not sure I believe them but we'll see!
I'd just ring the hotline and get them to reconfirm over the phone rather than ticking 'yes'. The code doesn't change they just re validate it. Number is: 0300 123 40970 -

Thanks, I called up and was told to go through and update the details to say I received the vouchers.
Importantly, I am still eligible so all good.0 -
Hello all, I'm taking a break from my melt down to write this post in the hope someone can shed some light on my issue.
I am new to free childcare as started my eldest child (now 3 1/2) in September. I received two emails with a deadline date of December the 1st anti reconfirm and I did this. The message on the hmrc website was that they would contact me 4 weeks before I was to reconfirm again.
five months passed and still nothing so I logged on and reconfirmed myself.
My childcare provider was then told that the code was for next term and I'd missed the deadline date for this term meaning I'd have to pay for my son's childcare myself!!! I phoned hmrc to ask why they hadn't informed me in advance like they should have done and they couldn't tell me, just asked for me to complain.
I am totally distraught at the moment as we just cannot afford the childcare costs so don't know where we stand for appealing it. I feel like I've totally been let down by the system and as a busy working mum time passes so fast you really do rely on these reminders especially when the only experience you've had of them before was that they send them in advance.
Has anyone else experienced this or could anyone shed any light?
I feel so stupid for not checking and trusting them. My childcare provider was also contacted by the local authority last time and told that I needed to renew however not informed this one so she hadn't a clue either.

Hi there I am just wondering if you have a reply from when you made a complaint or whether they ended up back dating the funds to the child care provider due to if being technical issues? I am having the same problem. Thanks0

Surely, you should have gone into the 'grace period'
