Hi there I havent got insurance on anything, so I think I should get round to sorting this out.
Need some advice Im a 35 year old single mum with 2 kids 10 and 8, Ive got no medical conditions.
Just want something that will pay off any debts or bills if worst happens, also leave a bit left over for my kids, and yes Ive got to make a will as well, very morbid I know.
Any advice or reccomendations gratefully received.
Thanks

You need level term assurance or family income benefit depending on your budget and/or needs. You should also write the policy in trust to the children to ensure they get it and no IHT is liable.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). sorry I must be a bit thick but didnt really understand that, does that mean it has to be done so the taxman doesnt get a portion of it, and which companies would be the best?0
