Help appreciated.
Driver received a PCN on what he discovered afterwards was a private road whilst performing deliveries to an associated business.
There was no ticket attached to the vehicle so I assume someone in the business photographed the vehicle.
Date of issue of PCN 10/01 date of issue of letter informing of PCN 22/01/2018
There are no signs when entering the road, we have since discovered there are two small signs tucked away that are very difficult to see and are normally obscured by commercial vehicles parked up whilst delivering.
The road for google street view is "Talbot Yard" SE1, see if you can find the two parking signs!

The vehicle was parked in the same place as the silver car in the photograph.
How is the best way to defend this ticket.
If it goes to County Court, this would not be a worry as I have confidence in dealing with CC

But this is all covered in the NEWBIES thread, how to deal with a BPA or IPC member.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

C.....p.....m0 -
If its cpms then look them up on bmpa website to see their attitude towards taking this all the way.
Otherwise apart from trying for a landowner cancellation you are dealing with an IPC company
So after the initial appeal, ignore everything except a lbcca or court correspondence0 -
Or UKCPM?
Usual IPC advice, these cases are won by a decent defence, no 'appeal' realistically exists.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
