Half term here this week. DSS and his GF arrived yesterday for the week and DH has taken a couple of days off, so busy, busy, busy!

Sausages for breakfast baking in the oven, small beans watered with chocolate milkshake (it is the holidays...) animals fed, DW emptied, reloaded and on, coffee delivered to still-snoring hubby and now contemplating washing my hair...

Master bedroom isn't too bad, so today I may not fail...

    Happy burpday for yesterday Natty

    Love to all xxx

    Morning all

Level 1 done! (well, not quite - the bedlinen is still in the WM)

And progress has been made on the essay, as one of the books I got out of the library yesterday has turned out to be very readable and useful. Just got to keep the momentum going now...

Catch up later. Hope everyone gets some of the glorious sunshine and blue sky that we have here atm, though it's cold and frosty too x

Good morning, it's cold and very frosty here.

Half term week here, so work days are being juggled and re-jigged to fit around. Obviously as today is now a non-paid stuff day, I was awake at 6am. So towels are just finishing in the wm, dw has been emptied, and clean washing has been sorted. Just finishing my second cuppa, then I must crack on for a couple of hours before delivering DD to town to meet her friend, and then ticking off a couple of errands and appointments.

Back later, have a lovely day everyone.
  • Good morning, Thank you both for the lists. I haven't posted for 2 weeks, I haven't been in too good a place, so no flying.

I'm going to give it a go today though!

I can't do today's list, DH in bed after a night shift and wouldn't be happy. So i'm going to look back at last weeks list and choose a day, I think kitchen might be a good place to start.

    Well done kazwookie! :T:T

More progress reading a different book :)
    WMx2 in.
Sympathy card written: DH has gone out to post it and deliver goodies to the CS

He has just cleared :j a load of his books off 3 of the LR shelves as we are having a bit of a change-round. I shall be moving books from 3 more shelves too - but not this week: before that can happen I need to get new shelves for my study , which involves first moving the keyboard down to the spare room, which involves first changing a sliding door to a hinged one and shifting a wardrobe and CoD into the corner and having some shelves put up :p

Onwards and upwards... still planning to take Rosie to her class this afternoon, as I shall need a break and she will need an outing anyway (and I've paid in advance!). Catch up later x
  • I've just done half hour in kitchen.
    Loaded washer
    Emptied dishwasher
Reloaded dishwasher with breakfast pots and things that wouldn't fit last night.
Cleared one worktop and wiped it, thrown a whole bag of rubbish from it, wiped small appliances on it, wiped doors above and below it.
    Emptied bin.

Made a call i needed to, decluttered a cup of tea and going to get showered ready for work. Will see if i can do more later.

I am trying to be in this week but work will get in the way. Luckily I did the bedroom yesterday, and had a huge clean out of the kitchen on Saturday as part of my H2H commitment.

Thanks,as always, for the threads and lists. Natty, hope you had a good birthday.
