Halfords electric bike faulty battery

Thank you, Forgotmyna. Yes, I think I should find the better and more decent one to fit....! Thank you also firefox1956. I will try to find something better!!0

Ask a friend to charge the battery? Not go away for a "month or two"?I wonder what people would do when they go on a long holiday...
Be honest, you didn't use the bike for an extended period and the result is the battery has failed.
Get a new one, but don't buy it from Halfords unless you want to pay top dollar.0 -
thank you, Moneyinpititude. Here I have got lots of comments from many decent and kind people, who all said the battery should have been better maintained, but not to buy a new one from Halfords. I think I will follow these advice! I have to now find where I can get inexpensive but decent battery. (if anyone knows...?) probably better go to the Pedelecs forum...?0

I went to the shop yesterday for my bike. Surprisingly, they said that they would give me a half price discount on a new battery, which I accepted. So it was not too bad in the end. Thank you for all your advice here as well!0
