Anyhoo it was a quiet day for twin 2 after the group was spoken to this morning and told parents will be called in. It's bad news on other fronts as twin 1 referral to home tutoring has been denied. She must now make in roads to return to school or I face prosecution and or outside agency involvement. Snap cancelled today are coming out tomorrow so will find my option there.

Sorry, why do you need permission to home educate her - have I misunderstood?

I doubt the family can afford five hours of private tuition per day.

    A few questions.

When was her statutory assessment sent to SENA?

What have SENDIAS been doing during the process?

When was she last seen by the ped?

When was she last seen by autism outreach?

Most people who home educate don't use private tutors.

Because io dont have the capacity to home educate, i dont want to de register her either. The can provide home tutoring, but the referal fell flat on its feet, probably due to lack medical evidence provided byt the school, in hind sight i should have called and asked if they needed any additional supportive evidence.

The only real option would be to pay a tutor, that I couldn't afford.

    1. Another one is being prepared as we speak last one was a few years ago before the tribunal took the appeals.
    2. WHO?
    3. Decmber 19th in follow up.
    4. Doesnt have Autism outreach (hence my letter as not provided).
    5. Outcome of letter i sent last monday is that its triggered a medical review of her and her sisters medical notes with a view to putting things rights which includes her diagnosis.
    6. Oc Therapy is writing a supporting letter for her uniform and Dis-Application to welsh in more detail this time after 1.5 hours of going through all her sensory needs after her anxiety group friday. This will be passed over in the review of her med noted by her psych consultant.
    7. No Ed Psych in our area at all LA has not managed to fill the boots of the previous so expecting the Stat assessment to fall flat on its feet too in the middle of collating all medical evidence to send with Stat Assessment request letter to negate Ed Psych need to we can bypass this step and hopefully gain a Statement.

School has said she needs to return to school on the basis now im open to prosecution because the referal is now dead (SNAP said as much too). a few referal to outside LA and School agencies for 1-2-1 and family inclusion teams but this in the early stages and can take up to 3 months to hear back according to school.
I was also warned that All wales child protection proceedures can also be triggered at this stage.

Why haven!!!8217;t you referred her to autism outreach?

You don!!!8217;t need to use county provided EPs.

Statements don!!!8217;t exist anymore, so I assume you have applied for an IDP?

outreach services mostly only deal with Asperger or high functioning autism, as daughter only has ADHD as a definitive diagnosis, and "treat as ASD" on file and under 16 most outreach services in my area are "out of reach".

I suppose your suggesting a private EP? because if that's the case I wish I could and had the spare money.

ive applied for a statutory assessment of eductational needs. if that leads to an IDP then yes that's what ive applied for.
