Credit report before buying a house

So we want to buy a house...

I have a ccj which I didn't know about for ground rent on a property of £1000 nearly 3 years ago. The papers were sent to an old address of mine but they wrote to my mortgage company who paid it! I didn't know about it at the time but discovered it when I downloaded clearscore.

- will I still be able to get a mortgage
- should I go to court to get it removed, would they even approve that or is it my fault?
- should I mark it as settled or if it's 3 years ago won't that make any difference

I am unsure of the best thing to do? Help?

Is this a CCJ for the unpaid ground rent in your previous thread? If so how have you ended up with a CCJ assuming you followed the advice given?

No this is a different story! This is from over 3 years ago! I paid the bill in full last week from the previous thread and no ccj has been given! I took the advice for the previous thread thanks

You could try and get the CCJ set aside but I don't know how successful you would be...
