urgent - faulty Worcester 24i

My boiler just died on me and I cannot find anyone to come and have a look today.
The boiler is Worcester Bosch 24i. I havent got any issues wit it before and it was serviced/checked in Aug.
I have no CH or hot water. There is slowly flashing blue light and quickly flashing red Reset button. I hit reset and I also switched the boiler off and on and nothing helped. The water pressure is at the right level.
Is there anything I can do DIY to get it fixed?

Is the gas on? If someone has rooted about in a cupboard it could have been knocked off. Next power off for 10 minutes, then back on and reset. You can probably find a fault finder for your boiler online somewhere and try that.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

There is a gas supply to the house, I checked on the hob in the kitchen. Unfortunately not really sure how to perform other checks. I only know how to do water pressure on the boiler. I dont get any error codes on the screen, just flashing lights0

If you!!!8217;re not sure what you!!!8217;re doing and the basic resets suggested above don!!!8217;t work, leave it for a professional. Can you get someone out tomorrow or Monday? Presumably you can heat water in a kettle? Have you got a couple of portable electric heaters to tide you over for 36 hours?0

Legally you can do what you want with it in your own home but I!!!8217;d say you would be irrisponsinle to attempt a repair on it. If you pay enough money, you!!!8217;ll get someone out. I don!!!8217;t know if your system is sealed or open vent but check system is full of water. So top up pressure and bleed rads I!!!8217;d sealed or check header tank is full and ball !!!! not stuck if open and bleed system.0

!!!8211; Blocked flue?
Many years ago we had a dead bird in the flue - took the plumber two minutes to remove it, which we could have done ourselves if only we'd known.
Have a look in the flue to see if you can see anything perhaps???0
