Passport Stamps

My friend wants to get her passport stamped on the 29th of February. I am prepared to tag along with her. We both have EU passports; hers; U.K, mine Irish. So where are you guaranteed to get your passport stamped? Preferably within Europe, or somewhere that is not too much of a long haul flight.

no- I've only ever had mine stamped, or had a ticket stapled into it when travelling to the US or Canada. I su popse you could ask them , but there's no guarantee they'll do it.

I've never had my passport stamped when entering a European country, I think you'd need to go somewhere that is not part of the EU to get it stamped.

  • Turkey - You will have to spend £10 on a visa.

EasyJet from Luton to Istanbul £45 out, £23 back on the same day.

Total: £78 each (8 hours total flight time)

Yes, I did wonder 'why' but if people want to spend money getting their passport stamped with 29th February rather than asking their bloke to marry them , who are we to stop them?
