Current account switching service question

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me please, I cant find the answer to this particular question online:

If I have for example, a current account, savings account and a mortgage account with a bank and I initiate the switching service with another bank for the current account - is the savings account and mortgage account left untouched?

Yes, just your current account will switch unless your saving account is linked to your current account, i.e. a regular saver

......and not exactly in answer to the question- if you have an existing bank account that suits your needs don't switch that.
Set up a donor account to switch.
It looks good on paper if you have shown loyalty to one paerticular bank for a number of years.
I would suggest that most people keep their 'main' current account.
