DRM removal - freeware sought

Is there any freeware that will remove DRM encryption on a large (1.7Gb) MP4 file - to allow viewing ?

    Against forum rules to discuss I think,but yes there are many ...google is your friend and tape up your clicking finger until you are sure you want to enter such sites

    We can certainly help with viewing the file legitimately though. We'll get nowhere if we don't know what DRM it is.

    HDCP? Are we talking about the copy protection built into the HDMI standard? If so, both the playback device, and the screen need to support HDCP. This looks like a hardware problem. For the moment DO NOT download anything that promises to fix it.
    So - what is the playback device, what is the screen, and via what cables are they connected?
