New radiator recommendations please.

Hi
We are renewing all our radiators during a complete refurb of our house.
Husband is a retired (many years ago) Heating Engineer. He is looking for recommendations on good quality radiators at a reasonable price (of course!). Also where to source them.

I just had Kartell radiators put in, seem to be fine. My installer got them from MP Moran.

They seem to be standard, everyday radiators. Nothing fancy.

    I have Kudox radiators
the good thing is they have 4 entrance's for the pipework,
which is good if you have air blockage as you can drain from the top of radiator with a hose attached
they do show signs of rust in my bathroom after 3 yrs, (my bathroom must be streamy) so I replace the bathroom rad every 3-4 yrs
  • Stelrad decent quality and price. Think they!!!8217;re Europe!!!8217;s largest radiator brand.

This is so annoying, why don't they make a better quality radiator for the bathroom with extra rust protection on it, we would be happy to pay extra for it.
  • because kudox are cheap radiators for the diy let only in my opinion. Stelrad do a range designed for bathrooms that shouldn’t rust so bad.

I bought Avova column rads which I think look a lot better than the normal type.

Basic towel rack rad in my mums bathroom, about 6 years old. No probs.

Just had one of these put in my own bathroom, pretty effective.

  • Why wouldn’t he know if he’s already in the trade?

I want to update/grade my radiators as I’m getting a new boiler. Are the ones from Screw Fix at around £50-100 decent?
  • We recently replaced ours with Kudox from Screwfix and Revive from Mr Central Central Heating, both look great and were very well priced
