PPI Interest

I received a letter dated 08/01/2018 advising that I was due a PPI payment which had been sent to a previous IVA practitioner. The IVA company phoned Halifax on 15/01/2018 at their request as I was told it would be quicker. They cheque was then received by the bank on 25/01/2018. I have been phoning up and getting told nothing, no time period can be given etc. The 28 day period was up on 05/02/2018. I have spoken to them today and finally it is with a case handler and they took my bank details to do a bank transfer, but can't give me a time period of how long this will take.

Am I entitled to ask them for a further 28days of interest?
