10p listing day?

A lack of household junk, VHS cassettes and well-worn clothes available for sale usually indicates a CLD is on the way...

eBay only use it to bump up listing figures, but it does not improve their revenue, as the market saturation it creates leads to reduced final values, and therefore less in Final Value Fees for eBay. The USA site has had nowhere near the same number of CLD's that the UK "enjoyed" this year

There are murmurings within the "industry" that there will be a significant change of tact with eBay promotions next year. Current rumours include category specific promotions or long term price revisions (like in the DVD section on UK), and incentives for sellers such as reduced FVF's for offering Free Postage and increasing availability of the Rewards programme. Gallery as a standard option has worked well in France, so is likely to be rolled out across the rest of the sites at some point in 2008.

It is recognised that CLD's are an ineffective strategy, and only provide a token short term boost to listing numbers.

I've looked on the community bit and haven't found anything, is there any way of knowing when the next 10p/cheap listing days will be coming up? There was one on the 6th of sep, do they come around every so often?

Have ebay had a 10p listing day this month? (Wondering if I missed it!)

I can't find any info on when the next one is, apart from a topic saying it might be today, but after going on the site it doesn't seem to be.

Yes there was one a week or so ago (many of us did unusually badly in our listins from it!), if anyone knows the next one and lets us know, I would be grateful too!
