Hi,
Wonder if anyone can advise.
I received a letter today for an unpaid toll payment from Euro Parking Collection. It details an unpaid toll for Portugal BUT the sting in the tail is that the contravention (their word) supposedly happened in 2015.
Is there a reasonable length of time a fine (if it is classfied as a fine?) can be issued?

As above, bin fodder.
My experiences of EPC plc here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3829621 and here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5376308
If they were any way inclined to take court action on these charges, my company would be first in the queue.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->1 -
Hello, I need some legal advice. Long story short, I sold a car and the new owner illegally exported the car out of the country within days. EPC PLC are trying to get me to pay for a fine from the new owner in HUNGARY. Luckily, I covered my myself and wrote a receipt, took photos of everything I had and DVLA have just confirmed over the phone that my name was removed and put as the previous owner - they dont know who the new owner is because he gave me false details. DVLA are currently working on getting me the confirmation in a letter form so I can send it back to EPC PLC or CONTRACTUM, so its just a waiting game. My question is, once I have provided my evidence of proof of sale - will EPC leave me alone? Can they blacklist me or damage my credit etc? Im so worried as i'm not financially in a great place and I am trying really, really hard to built up my credit score. I would be mortified if this was to be damaged now. I've been experiencing severe anxiety and stress over this situation, hopefully someone can help me. How can I stop the letters coming through once I have supplied my evidence, I live with my landlord in a shared house and they will go bonkers if they see these letters coming through. Thanks.

You will need to consult a solicitor then; this is a consumer rights forum.cxreyjp said:Hello, I need some legal advice. You don't need legal advice anyway. Haven't you read enough to realise you can ignore the letters? My question is, once I have provided my evidence of proof of sale - will EPC leave me alone?Yes.Can they blacklist me or damage my credit etc? No.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
