When I was 17 I was going out with a boy and on valentines day I received a huge bunch of red roses, with a scrawl that read all my love and a single letter/symbol I couldn't make out.
I asked my boyfriend at the time if he had sent them, he looked surprised and later said he did. We eventually broke up and a few years later I found out who really sent them, someone I went to school with! His friend told me by chance. He was married by then.0
