Motorcycle Insurance Advice

Hi guys,

Just wanted some advice regarding the salvage offer for my bike as I haven't got a clue and feel like my insurance know it too .

I originally £4300 for my bike last year. The 3rd party insurer valued it at something like £3550 with a salvage cost of £1190. However the company that is holding my bike at the moment (for my insurance company) rang me for the first time today saying that they are willing to pay me £800 for the salvage cost.

The way the lady explained it was 3550-1190=2360 2360+800=3,160

Surely I am in my right to request what the 3rd party valued my bike at? Or do I not have a choice and will need to sell the bike myself?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea where I stand or what I can do.:beer:
