I used traditional old fashioned string. Not the bright white dyed stuff but traditional sisal.
This is what the guy from Rentokil suggested when he did the woodworm fogging, though he didn't suggest using PVA. Indeed what led me to post was vacuuming the floor prior to varnishing, and all the string got sucked up!
Bizarrely, not only does this seem to be the same stuff as stop-g, it's the same price and sold by the same company. pboae, looks like kruez is giving this product the thumbs up for you!
Having done some maths, it looks like we'd need over $60 of stopg/gapseal, so we're going for the caulk method instead. Will post back when it's done. Which might be this year. But probably not. Many thanks to everyone for their helpful advice, I only wish I'd posted this question 2 months ago. When we finally get round to getting it all done, anyone who posted on this thread is more than welcome to join us for a celebratory glass of champers.
Hi, I have three rolls of xxx floor board filler left after fitting out our entire building. Normal price £24.49, make me an offer by DM. It works really well but it stretches quite a bit when the gaps get smaller, hence I have quite a bit left.
Spam reported - you are the owner of the company which sells xxx floor board filler and trying to sell your product through this forum.
