no , do not ignore it , report them to Steve Clarke at the BPA by email for breaching the BPA CoP and send a copy of the latest LBC as well as giving the BPA the popla reference and a short history of it too
be pro-active, this is what helps in court, a paper trail0 -
Complain to the BPA that you are being threatened whilst a POPLA appeal is in progress.
Their response is nearly always to have the ticket cancelled rather than sanction a member.0 -
Actually I would email a copy to:
- the BPA
- your MP
- Trading Standards
RIGHT NOW, attaching proof/screenshot that your case is at POPLA. Major ranting complaint called for.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks everyone, I have a screen shot of the current status of my POPLA appeal. I will get on to this shortly, and complain to BPA, my MP, and Trading Standards (where Coupon Mad, should I go through CAB who act for Consumer Direct now?).
Should I send a copy of my complaint to Parking Eye, or just keep them out of the loop?0 -

Do you have that email address please?0 -

NOPE. Never CAB nor the pointless Consumer Direct 'helpline/fob off' rubbish.
Ring your local Council and ask for the address for your TS officer(s).

You do realise that the survey was carried out by the same company that runs POPLA!as above ^^^^^^^^^^^^

yes, but my point was about emphasising the typical lack of complaining by ordinary joes including this OP , something that is common knowledge and I do not care whose survey it was, I could have told them that not enough people complain at a fraction of the cost !!

I have said for several years on this forum that not enough people complain and its clear that most people who post have not complained to the retailers or landowners or managing agents (or PALS , or MP,s , or Steve Clark e or anyone else for that matter)
I want the correct point to be taken onboard, not about who made it this time (its a very british malady that needs addressing)0 -
Draft email to steve.c@britishparking.co.uk shown here. Any suggestions/improvements?
I am writing to complain about the actions of one of your members, namely Parking Eye. They are harassing me by threatening court proceedings whilst my current POPLA appeal is still unresolved, contrary to your code of practice.
As the registered keeper of a vehicle I received a Parking Charge Notice for payment from Parking Eye dated **th November 2017, relating to an alleged parking offence on **st November 2017. (Parking Eye ref ***********). Despite the manifest unfairness of this PCN I followed the recommended procedure as follows:
Appeal online **th December 2017
Appeal rejected and POPLA code issued **nd January 2018 (note how long this took)
POPLA appeal (ref *********) submitted online **th February
Letter before County Court Claim from ParkingEye alleging I had not appealed within the 28 day deadline dated *th March 2018, received by me on **st March 2018 on return from holiday.
Current status of POPLA appeal as at 29th March 2018 "awaiting evidence from Parking Eye, but also confirms my appeal has been submitted. (screen grab from POPLA site cut and pasted here)
It is now 6 weeks since I submitted my POPLA appeal, Parking Eye have yet to submit any evidence, and yet they are threatening me with court action. This is totally against your code of practice and I trust you will hold them accountable for this.
I am copying this email to my local MP, (name here) in the hope that he will act to strengthen regulation of your "industry".0
