I recently sold an item which was for collection only, which i dont do very often - I sent my phone number normally but I did choose my words carefully, e.g. i didn't write "my phone number is ...", more like "i'm on ....", not that it should really be an issue as the sale was through ebay but i know they still object if they feel like it...
