Kindle fire 8 hd not mounting sd card at startup.

Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem where the kindle fire 8 hd 2017 doesn't mount the micro sd card at startup? seems to just have happened of late with me, I know there was a system update by Amazon. When I go into settings and select mount card it does, but wish it would do it at startup as well.
I have formatted the card again but still no good.
