Cat pregnancy

Hi All,
I'm regenerating an older thread here in the hope that one of you can offer me some advice.
I have a kitten, I say kitten because she was only born on July 13th of this year so only 5 months old. I've spoken to our vet when we took her in for her jabs and they dont spay them until they are 6 months old.
I am worried though that she may be pregnant already. She has put on a little weight recently, is eating loads, is very affectionate (so much so that she follows me everywhere, sits on me the minute I sit down and sleeps on my pillow at night bless her). I have had a very gentle feel of her tummy, not to try and feel kittens if there are any but to see if she has nipples! I've found 2 very low down on her tummy. Do female kittens grow nipples as a matter or course or is it something that only happens when pregnant??
I will phone our vet on monday but am hopeful of some advice before then, if anyone has experiance of this I would be most grateful of a reply-even if it is to tell me I am worrying over nothing!!!
Many Thanks,

Hi please get her to a vet asap and if not too far on then have the kittens aborted, this may sound harsh but your girl is a baby herself and may not make it through the pregnancy, they will spey her now if she is pregnant (early) and that will clear the feotus (sp) at the same time. For anyone else reading this PLEASE do not let you kittens out until they have been neutered.

we rescue cats/ have foster cats and we have fostered kittens spayed/neutered at 10 weeks old, this is done through a cat rescue, as alot of these kittens get put back out at farms as ferals etc( not the ones we fostered though)
i agree with above, mandy2901,THANKS to everyone who posts competitions. you are all :A.0 -
thanks breezerockz, there are also vouchers available for neutering if finances are an issue.

yes, the fosters are from cat pro, and they also cover any vets fees if they are needed,
our kittens that we actually went for,( two, as i had lost my cat and needed to fill gap) we had vouchers for,
ended up fostering two babies, and they are def no longer feral, they eat sleep and purr,
then at 1.5 years, the brother turns up, and also now lives in house, all cuddly etc,
we also took one from a family who didnt want him, he.s old,
we have erm, 13. eek,
two maine coons, rest rescues,THANKS to everyone who posts competitions. you are all :A.0 -
Thanks for your replies guys. I will call the vet and get an apt first thing monday and will ask (if she is pregnant) that we do what is best for her health NOT the kittens, if that means a termination/spaying then thats what has to happen. I love my little Sooty (can you tell shes black?!?) to pieces and would never knowingly do anything to jepordise her health.WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0

Thankyou
I agree totally but it annoys me when people let their kittens out unneutured, it really is irresponsible but I can say this until the cows come home and people will still do it
She is far far too young to have kittens and if she is pregnant then you really must think about going ahead with a spay so the vets can abort the babies, i know this sounds horrid but your kitten will still be a kitten when she gives birth and she could end up dying through the birth.
Take her ASAP please0
