Back in the day of the old green-skinned forum, you could click top right, and isolate a single post, for referencing in a new thread.
Does anyone know how to do this with the newer layout?
Sorry I wasn't sure if this is 'techie' or 'site feedback'.

Right click on post no. # N and select 'copy link location' and paste it somewhere, you get this.

In the green skinned forum you can simply click on the post number next to the # sign and that gives a link direct to that post. E.g. your OP in this thread is:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=73844768&postcount=1
And this reply is:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=73845065&postcount=3
Edit: like post #2 says. (I had the thread open and then got distracted before replying).0 -
I still use the green forum.
If you are logged in there is a way somewhere to chose ....
User CP (near the top somewhere) then scroll down and on the left there's a list 'Your Control Panel'
At the bottom 'manage version' and chose the 'old version'
Then Robert is your father's brother, as they say ...
All the above is from my 'old style' green version which will of course be different in the crappy super dooper blue version (that nobody seems to like, but hey ho!)0 -
Ha, I didn't even know there was a new version. The only time I've seen the blue version was when I was signed out which I thought was deliberate.0

Hi,
the green forum is easier on the eye, the blue version looks aneamic.0 -

Urrg, I tried it for a day and switched back to the old version. Who thought that was a good idea MSE?0
