ICICI have also improved their Base Rate guarantee.
From the 1st of January 2008, the interest rate offered is guaranteed to be 0.30% above the Bank of England base rate till 31st of December 2011.
The existing rate guarantee of 0.25% above the base rate will continue to be in effect till 31st December, 2007.
This means this is now better and lasts longer than guarantee offered by IceSave.

I predicted an ICICI rise about 3 weeks ago in this thread
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=562402&highlight=icici
except I assumed it would be 6.45% not 6.41%. ICICI had to beat B&B but I assumed it would be by a margin of 0.5%.0 -
