New Build Taylor Wimpey

We have recently reserved a property with Taylor wimpey. We managed to negotiate and get £5995 off the list price. But there was no way they would budge for anything towards extras.
We now have a mortgage offer and are almost ready to exchange in a couple of weeks.
We have had an offer from Barratts to match that price of a very similar build home with a £5000 options voucher. Is it too late to negotiate further with Taylor wimpey? We are meeting the site manager before we exchange, so thought it may be worth trying then.
Although I'm very happy with Taylor Wimpey so far and I'm not sure I'd go with the other offer anyway.. And don't want to !!!! them off in the process of trying to negotiate so close to exchanging.

Don't ask you don't get and will always wonder what if0

I wouldn't be so worried about a few grand off an asking price as much as the tenure of the property.
If it Leasehold walk away and do your research about the nightmare others are facing with these new build properties0
