i just had a pre recoded fonecall saying congratulations youve won an all inclusife holiday to the bahamas,please press 9 to listen to the instructions,i said to him indoors am not sure about this,he said its them thats calling so it wont go on your bill,when i pressed number 9 i diddnt get nothing????????there is not many competitions i use my own number for only the newspaper ones i only use my mobile for most of em,is this a scam or someone on the wind up?????? or have i actually won? it was a witheld number too arghhhhhhh

defo a scam, not heard of this for a while but it did do the rounds a while back, once you press 9 think it dials a premium number or something like that, cant really remember now but ignore it - its not a win!

Yeps I remember hearing something about when an incoming call asks you to dial a specific number you then start to get charged a premium rate call. You're right hjb it was doing the rounds a while back.

Any pre-recorded phone calls - I just hang up. If their time is too precious to speak to me then so is mine!
