Switched from TSB to Santander

Was wondering if anyone has had the same experience...
The bank switch completed on Tuesday 30 January. On 28 January I made 3 online purchases from Boots.com, which I returned to the store on 2 February for a refund. The Boots store had to call their customer services to confirm they had received the items and ask how the refund would be processed when my now closed TSB account was used to pay for the items. Boots carried out the refunds and I contacted TSB today to confirm that they have received the payments, which they have. They also told me that the 3 refunded payments would not be transferred to my new Santander bank account for 3 weeks.

Has anyone else been in this situation?

I'm utterly gobsmacked!!! :shocked:

TSB said the payments would have to be "sent offshore" before they would reach my new account! :huh:
