Does anyone know what title Sun Alliance now go under ? It became Royal Sun Alliance but neither names appear in the Martin Lewis PPI dropdown list.

Sun Alliance didnt sell PPI direct to the consumer. So, even if you had an R&SA policy, you wouldnt complain to them. This is probably why it is not in the resolver list.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Thank you.
Contacting the RSA Group seems impossible. Their site shows a contact number but when tried and the menu gone through, the responder says it's More Than. A search on Google shows different ways of contact with RSA- one listed number is not recognised and others just lead back to More Than.
I'm trying to look into the possibility ( it's probably no more than that ) of a PPI claim arising under a Sun Alliance policy taken out in 1986 when I became self employed. It was to indemnify me in the event of falling ill and not, as a consequence, earning income. I, fortunately, never made a claim against it. It was dealt with by a broker who died many years ago.0 -

As I said, Sun Alliance did not sell direct to public. You would have done this via a broker, which you now confirm.
So, you have no complaint with Sun Alliance.
You have no-one to complain to and you dont appear to have a complaint reason anyway. Time to give up and move on.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
