We had bank/credit card/loans etc years ago that we want to pursue for PPi/Plevin but we can't remember exactly which or when. How and from where would we be able to get these details?

If they're not on your credit files, your memory or filing cabinet are the only places left to check.0

If you have no memory or records yourself, your only options are to write to every likely lender or give up entirely.0

We remember which cards and store cards but no dates or paperwork. Do we have to give up or is there another way? If we write to them to ask will they check for us ?0

You can ask them if you have PPI, and hope that they have better records than you.
However, they are required to destroy records once no longer needed, so bear that in mind.0 -
I have found a credit card statement depicting 'Credit Card Repayment Protector' on a Natwest Credit Card. Balance GBP 4120 and Credit Card Repayment Protector being deducted at GBP30.67 per month. Natwest initially have said it's CPP and I totally refute this. I have sent them a copy of the statement - can anyone offer any advice?0

Hi I've found'Credit Card Repayment Protector on a Natwest Credit Card I had on a statement dated 1998. Natwest state that I haven't got PPI despite sending them a copy of the statement. I have been successful in 4 other claims and I cannot see why they are refuting this. Any advice at all?0

Rather than just post the same issue over and over, just stick to the one thread.

Sounds more like an ANNUAL figure for CPP. The OP has found one statement and ,made an incorrect assumption.societys_child wrote: »The same figure every month?0
