  • How long does the appeal process generally take?

I sent mine off 11 days ago and not heard a dickie bird yet.

I realise I'm a small fish in a large pond and there are probably loads of others to do, but thought I might have heard something by now.

Smart Parking issue almost one thousand parking tickets a day. This is an operation on a truly industrial scale. Their priority is getting tickets issued and money grabbed.

Appeals will be at the very bottom of their priority list.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

To draw a close on this thread, I received an email from Smart Parking last night to say that following the points I raised, they are cancelling the Parking Charge Notice.

    RESULT!

I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone on MSE for all your help and advice on this matter.

    Cheers folks.
