Looking for help & inspiration, wheelchair access.

Hi all,
I am taking my mother away for around 3-4 days at the beginning of May. As she is more or less wheelchair bound, I am looking for advice on the best place to take her. We live in the Newcastle area & I don't really want the journey to be any longer than 4 hours in the car. She loves seaside towns, but they need to be as flat as possible for pushing the wheelchair. We would prefer a hotel on the sea front, not too worried about the cost.
Your suggestions would be very welcome!! Thanks in advance
