Please help paying 15158 and vigin media for the same calls

I'm staying with my brother at the moment and thought this would be great as I'm always on the phone:o

My brother uses vigin media and has just had a telephone bill with the same phone calls that 15158 have charged me for:eek:

I'm confused i wanted to save money not pay twice for the same phone call.

I bought one of those diallers that was recommended on here to save me typing the number in everytime.

Please help me.....

Have you by any chance been using the 18185 020 access number ,instead of the 0808 Freephone one from the VM phone.If so their would be two lots of charges for same call,eg one for first leg of call (VM),and one for the second leg (18185),unless your brother has inclusive 01/02 minutes. This can be avoided by using the 0808 Freephone access number at all times from landlines.

What do I do now? They told us to put this number in will I have to pay twice?

Yes this time i am afraid you will have to pay both VM and 18185 . You have been using the 020 access number which is intended for users who have inclusive minutes either on Mobile or Landline.In future use the 0808 1 703 703 Freephone Access Number from a VM Phone,and your only pay 18185 for the call,the first leg of the call via VM will be free as they dont charge for 0800/0808 Calls.
