As Otel is in Turkey (not EU) I believe they can charge a fee.
As far as cash back sites - cash back is never guaranteed. (have you already stayed? - cash back tends to be awarded after the stay)

My credit card provider never charges fees in fact otel said to the card provider "we charge everyone these credit card fees but say its the card providers charging them whether they do or not". I am not sure if I am more amazed that they do this or that they admitted this to my credit card company!


I have never had cashback refused until now, no one ever should if you delete history/ cookies. For otel to write to topcashback to say they have no trace of my booking when I have an email and booking confirmed on their website is downright dishonesty.


Finally I rarely get a company not respond to an email let alone two but no surprise this company does not write back.


I have asked Topcashback to remove them from their website which they say may be possible if enough complaints are generated.



I will ask topcashback again to remove them particularly after what they told the credit card company.



Beyond reviews if anyone has any other ideas in which to make otel's life a little difficult let me know.
