Good Morning everyone well snow has finally got here in Kent ,but its very light and barely covering the ground thank goodness, fingers crossed it will disappear asap.I hate the stuff, it cold, wet and looks very uninviting to someone who need a stick to walk with
My oldest friend is coming today to take me out to lunch bless her, a great deal of chattering and drinking of coffee will be taking place.
No shopping to do as I have enough food in store and I will probably do my first food shop of February tomorrow .
Hope you are all warm and dry and <<hugs for the poorly and sad>>
snow drops are out inmy garden and lots of bulbs are showing their heads
soon be spring time chums
Take care if you are out walking

Good morning and a happy Monday, one and all.
Although I was working on Saturday for most of the day, I had a nice and relaxed weekend. Yesterday, as most Sundays are, was spent with family which is always nice. My Mum made lovely lamb chops with all the trimmings. Should've been £35 and it was reduced £12, I think my MSE-ness is rubbing off.
I'm travelling back down to London for a conference Wednesday and Thursday, but aside from that, a normal week for me.
Football tonight and LO lamb for dinner.

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Its a brrrr morning, cars are all frosted, glad I do not have to go out. Chiropodist was coming this morning, she has cried off, sounded dreadful on the phone, if she has a cold, we do not want it thanks.
Dreadful night again last night. Memo to self, do not start reading a Jeffrey Archer book before you go to bed, I just could not put the thing down, when I did I just could not sleep.
OH is up we will be going for a walk a little later. He managed up all day yesterday apart from his siesta which I insist he has.
I was going to strip the bed, but I am too tired so will empty the laundry bin instead, it will be going in the dryer.
Chicken with something tonight, possiblt clery and tomato salad and jacket spud.0 -

Lovely and bright here but cold. DH kept the heating on 16 last night as it was forecast to be cold but it kept us awake as it kept kicking in and the boiler is in our bedroom.
So nothing planned for today. I have cleaning to do but it depends how I feel. DH is making porridge for breakfast.
No snow yet but there was a frost today. Hoping not to get any snow as to pick up DGS early tomorrow as it is our long day of babysitting.

Morning everyone. I hope this week is good for you all.
A glorious sunny, cold day in Truro. Very good for house viewings hopefully. We!!!8217;ve driven round the area until we are dizzy. We have 4 viewings today and another 4tomorrow, but our top three are all today so I!!!8217;m hopeful we don!!!8217;t have to stay tomorrow night.
Finding suitable house vibes please.
((((Hugs))))) and spoons to those in need. I seem to have a surfeit. I feel a bit guilty hearing all your sleeping woes. Since we finally got rid of that f***ing thesis I have had 3 nights of 7 hrs. I feel better than I have in months.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Morning everyone,
Well it's just started snowing here, it's certainly cold enough so winter hasn't loosened its grip just yet. Glad that I left Lulu's thickest rug out for her.
Had a rough night sleep wise, just kept waking up so feeling a tad wrung out today, think I might be trying to fight off a lurgy as things ache and keep having these little dizzy moments. The WM is chugging away but it will all have to go on the airers to dry, not sure what else I will do, guess it depends on energy levels which are low at the moment.
My DOH has said he will pop into the vets to pick up Rosie's ashes, we intend to scatter them on her favourite beach, not sure if I feel up to it yet so he will tuck them away somewhere until am ready.
Right, time to get going, keep warm and safe everyone x0 -
We all had a lovely day yesterday. Met up with older dd and went tenpin bowling and then played table tennis before another dd drove and sil drove me home.
I gave them the baby books and the clothes I could not resist buying in the tk sale and they seemed pleased with them. We also had a look at baby travel systems and did a bit of research.
This afternoon is old movies with U3A in York so looking forward to that and will get the bus around noon with time for coffee and a snack.
Hugs to all0 -
Morning all
Had a rotten night, about 1hrs sleep. Mr Fix It was snoring like a set of bagpipes so I retired to the sofa where I coughed and coughed. Usually when we have colds and coughs we have them one after the other, but not this time we are in sync. Maybe a nanna nap will be on the cards for later.
We have already been for Mr Fix It's blood test and although the sun was shining it was blummin freezing. Good job the appointment was in the local hospital as there were 10 mile tailbacks on the motorway due to a 4 car pile up, if we had gone to the larger one we would have been caught up in that .
Just come home for a coffee before we head out to see the window man and then call in somewhere ( Al*i/Lid*l/ Morries ) for milk, bread and onions. Don't care which one Mr Fix It stops at. I fancy this week it will be comfort food, so casseroles, soups etc will be called for. I have some boiled potatoes left from yesterday, which I will fry with some bacon, so may have that for tea with a fried egg for me. Easy !
Hope everyone stays safe and warm today. Hugs to anyone who needs / wants one.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Good morning  (well it was when I started writing this
)
I know i must be late as nanny has beaten me too it
Had some work to finish off this morning and a shed load of emails to ditch or sort. One of my work colleagues wanted to chat for some time as well which I could have done without but hey ho anyway thats my excuse and I am sticking to it and I was awake at 6.20 as usual so cant believe the morning has disappeared
Anyway I have a pea and ham soup cooking on the hob so ill have a bowl of that for dinner with some crusty bread i cooked the ham in coke yesterday and had a slab for dinner it was gorgeous
Kitchen is a wreck again though so that needs sorting later and the soup will need portioning up too so hopefully enough for mum and my freezer.
Right best crack on or it will be evening before I know0
