Then assuming you haven't been paying in £1K per month there's no point opening another FD account to switch. On the customer service, what exactly has impressed you? I mean, you've (presumably) opened an account online, initiated a switch (maybe via phone?), and pocketed £125. You shouldn't have had to talk to them more than once?0 -
Just to confirm - unless the T&C state otherwise (and I have never seen any that do) - you can switch any current account as soon as you like after opening.0
