Hi everyone.
We have ordered a new fitted kitchen and we have decided that we will supply our own fridge for the 60cm rigid kitchen unit carcass.
Thing is when I look online many sites sell built under and integrated.
Which do I need and which is best built under or integrated ?
Also any recommendations?
Thank you for reading.

just to mention "The Wife" wants one that is fixed to the cupboard door and not just stood in the gap between units.Keep in your thoughts the poor Beasts of burden around the World and curse All who do them harm.0

Isn't that another word for 'integrated'?thebullsback wrote: »just to mention "The Wife" wants one that is fixed to the cupboard door and not just stood in the gap between units.0 -
You definitely want integrated - NOT built under.0

Look at some in the showrooms, most are tiny.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

While integrated appliances are hidden from view, they are more expensive to buy, there is less choice of models so less chance of getting certain features you may want, and the fittings that attach the cabinet doors to them are not standardised, so each time you buy new appliance, it takes a bit of fiddling to get the door fitted. I wouldn't have integrated appliances again...The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

If you have already ordered the kitchen, it might be a little late to change your mind now. Again, you will definitely get more choice and more bang for your buck if you buy freestanding fridge/fridge freezer but what space did you allow when ordering your kitchen? Are you just thinking of a fridge or a fridge freezer or a fridge and a freezer.
You can get something other than white fridge etc to make it look better in the kitchen.0 -
We rejigged half of our kitchen last year as the integrated fridge drove us mad!
Because of the vent, the usual salad drawer was in fact a salad box. We!!!8217;d end up using its lid as a shelf, making the drawer forgettable. Got fed up of mopping out liquid cucumber!Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

The only integrated appliance I would buy is a dishwasher. For everything else, you get much less choice and what you can buy is much more expensive.0
