Share/sendto stopped working to Gmail

I am working on a craft project at present and periodically I do a trawl around related web blogs and YouTube for interesting ideas posted by other crafters. I mail any I particularly like, to my Gmail account using the share or sendto option, depending what is available. While they are sent, a pop up message appears saying "sending message."
Only as of last Friday just gone, the related emails have stopped arriving in my inbox. I have no idea where they are, they haven't bounced, they are not in my inbox or spam or trash or any alternative gmail box. Anyone got any suggestions what is happening?

You need to tell us what app or process you're using to send these messages.
Anyway, why are you using such a clunky way of clipping stuff? Why don't you use Onenote or Evernote or Pocket or any one of the many other web clipping apps?0 -
Well suddenly they all turned up this evening at 7pm.
I am not using any app, just the option "share" or "send" on the screen I am looking at on Youtube or whatever. It suits me to do it this way as when the "shared" email arrives in my gmail inbox, I just move it into a dedicated gmail folder. From there I can retrieve it wherever I happen to be, using any of my devices, without having to install or load or open or manage any specialist app.
Given I am on the move a lot and may have my laptop or phone or tablet with me, it takes minimum effort. In many cases the link I have sent to myself takes me on line to the original screen which is a demo of how to do a particular craft or skill. So it suits me very well to do it that way.0 -
When you click Share in say youtube you should get a panel opening up with lots of sharing options - are you clicking the white envelope on a grey background?
If so that should open up your default email client. If that's the case just make sure the 'from' is your gmail account - no need to actually send the email, just save it as a draft and it'll be instantly available to do as you describe.0
