Long story which is really dull so I wnt bore you with it, but the upshot is I am paying £13 for gas per week and £18 for electric on a payment plan. The supplier is really expensive and I would like to change but could not really afford to pay off all we own on one hit, so does that mean I am stuck?
Thanks in advance

I am exactly that situation. I've tried and they won't let me. However, i will have paid all the arrears just before the next bill. So i'll be debt free for about one week before a big winter bill will need to spread again. aarrrggghhh
I'm going to try the switch again closer to the date and see if i get moved or not.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hi,
Your Supplier has X days (can't remember offhand, think it's 5WD's) to place a rejection on this basis to MPAS when they are notified of your new Suppliers request to register you.
They usually reject if you owe more than a quarter. However, there is nothing stopping you doing it, if they reject after X days, their rejection is denied.
Is there any chance you can change your current tariff to pick up cheaper rates or even a duel fuel discount or discount fo DD payments or something???:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
