i built this pc approx 6 years ago

i5 processor
8gb ram
using onboard hd3000 graphics only
120gb ssd
i have never had a problem until yesterday when trying to edit some gopro footage using gopro quik software. the lag made it virtually impossible to even play a video. the video plays ok using win10 video player
i suppect it is the onboard graphics which is the weakest link (its also running dual monitors) can anyone comment or advise on tweaking bios or a suitable budget graphics card
