Nationwide FlexDirect - should I switch?

I was under the impression that having too many accounts was a bad idea so am trying to keep those open down to a minimum, and keep one long term. So am trying to switch and balance what I have...

I'll switch to the Natwest one, and then also use that to switch next time.

I'm not sure why it would be a bad idea to have a number of accounts. I do and so do many others around here.

Nothing wrong with doing what you say, but if I were you I'd open another one with one of the banks you are already with and keep it primed for the next offer.

I wondered the same...right up until the point I had 39 current accounts 3 years ago. Then when I looked at what I was making I realised it wasn't such a bad idea after all!

I'm on a far more sensible 32 these days.
