As energy saving devices go, that one will probably work fairly well.
Once it's gone wrong and caused a fire which has burnt your house down, you'll get no more electricity bills.

But it has a sticker that says it's passed QC! The description says it's high quality! It can grow or shrink by up to 2cm! It belongs to the normal phenomenon! It's 17p off!

How can you doubt such a well engineered device?
