short term home insurance needed urgently

Please can anyone help me
my home insuarnce expires on 2nd nov, im moving to sweden on 9th nov.
my insurance want to charge me £60 cancellation if i cancel within first quarter and i cant find anyone to give me short term insurance. I only need an extra week!!!!! any ideas anyone????

    Hi Skoggie - rather than renewing for another 12 months and having to cancel could you ask them to extend your policy by a week?

    Can't think of any other option I'm afraid? Sorry if no use at all!

    If you take a new policy with someone else (online), I believe you have the right to cancel within 14 days unless you have had a claim.
