Insurance for freelancer

Hi.

I'm a freelance Graphic designer and I've been working with the same firm for about 18 months.

The pay isn't great which means I don't get to save anything, and that makes me worried about what would happen if i were taken ill or had an injury.

Does anyone know of any reasonable policies out there that cover stuff like rent and utilities - or contribute - should anything happen to me?

I have a few health issues that have prevented me getting life insurance, but I'm not looking for anything like that where there would be a big payout, just something to help out if I were to have an accident or be unable to find work for a few weeks or months...

Thanks.
