Can I open a business acccount with a poor credit history

I have set up as a free lance design consultant and have set myself up as a ltd company. (I will be the only employee).
However I have a poor credit history with a couple of defaults, and I was refused by the Alliance and Leicester. Can anyone recommend where I will be able to open a business account?
All I want to be able to do is pay in money and be able to pay out money, no credit facitlities are needed.
