Hi Everyone, I am new to all this so I am probably doing things all wrong, just wondering how long after you all started comping that you won your first competition? I started at the beginning of jan and haven't won yet but I know these things take time just curious so I know whether it is worth my time to carry on.
thanks everyone

Some people go a year or more without winning while others (myself included) win the first competition entered.0

I won within about a week of starting - it can take time though and its just down to luck I guess. Keep going with it and I wish you the best of luck.11 wins in August 2019 :j Thanks everyone x

I have set up a seperate twitter account and enter loads on there but I didn't really want to do the facebook ones as I have a lot of info on there so maybe thats why I am not winningStarted comping in January 18 and i'm already more than a little addicted!

Enter and forget. Theres no special trick to winning competitions, down to the luck of the draw/algorithm. Every tom d!ck and harry is a comper nowadays so its much much harder to win. Odds are against you nowadays!
You could enter thousands of comps and not win anything and yet you could enter thousands and win every one of them.0 -

Although in 2013 FB accounted for 50% by number and 60% by total value of my prizes, last year it was less than 4% by number and 5% by value so I wouldn't worry too much about it.0 -
It took me months to get My first win! it's all pot luck!! I agree with the enter and forget. I enter literally 1000s every week if you include the daily ones like click to wins and my success rate is very small - but there's ALWAYS the chance, which is what keeps me going! And I enjoy it!
I hope your first win comes soon xxI hope you have a happy day full of kindness :A0 -
thanks everyone, I do enter quite a few but maybe need to enter more, to be fair I think I may be getting slightly addicted to it lolStarted comping in January 18 and i'm already more than a little addicted!
