in Credit cards
Can anyone please give me advice??
I have two cards one with Barcly and the other with Citi group. I received letters from both of the telling me that they are reducing my credit limits as they have rechecked my credit rating and feel that it's in their "best interests" to reduce my limit.
Are they allowed to recheck credit files if i didn't give them consent and agreed to it in anyway???
It means this shows up on my credit file an i feel that it's a bit unfair?
Any help would be fantastic:o

 Yes they can it is in the T&C's in small print of course.
There have been many posts on this subject and lot of people are having there limits reduced after having there credit files reviewed. Might be worth you getting your credit file to see if anything has turned up on it. YOu should check with all three credit agencies.:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j0 -
This has just happened to me too. I'm not a happy bunny.
I'm not very good at reading T&Cs (probably why I'm not good with money!)
Is this something fairly new or has it always been going on?
How often is my credit likely to be rechecked?0
