Their attention to detail in checking how things are written on their website, looks like is a reflection of how they issues PCNs - shoddy.

Digging further on the PCN and the actual Britannia website:

PCN contact number differs to the one on the website
PCN website to pay the charge differs from the one on the Britannia website


So I am wondering if this is a scam - someone purporting to be Britannia and scamming people?

Then again it could be different details used by Britannia?

2: what is the number you have to ring , as often(not sure about brittania) they use other companies to handle appeals

3: brittania are a scam

As far as they are aware they were not in a private car park.

They were on a public road - the contravention also states the name of a road and not the name of a car park.
