Round the world- Multi-city advice

My parents (in their 60's) are planning on taking a multi-city round the world trip in January next year.

They need to get to the following cities on the trip

Goa
Melbourne
Sydney
Wellington
Dallas

Apart from that they are fairly flexible as to where else the trip may take them. The whole trip would take about two months.

Does anyone have any advise on how to go about booking such a trip, useful agents/websites etc
Thanks

From my (slightly out of date) knowledge of RTW the tickets:

Goa is basically a charter flight destinations from the UK. So there will be add-on flights. I reckon that the best option is a Great Escapade ticket that uses Virgin, Air New Zealand & Singapore Airlines. Your flights would look like this:

    Heathow - Bombay (Virgin)
Bombay - Goa - Bombay (additional low cost airline)
Bombay - Melbourne (via Singapore, Singapore Airlines)
Mel - Sydney (overland? or book your own)
    Syd - Wellington (Air NZ)
Wellington - LA / San Francisco (Air NZ via Auckland)
LA / San Fran - Dallas (Book your own)
Dallas - New York, Vegas, or any Virgin Destination (book your own)
    Vegas - London (Virgin)

I'd recommend using a RTW specialist, Travel Nation or Trailfinders or Global Village to investigate further.

If they just want sun & surf then it's probably cheaper overall to go to Thailand rather than Goa as UK, Thailand, Oz, NZ, US is the standard backpacker's circuit

If they can they should spend some time on some of the Pacific Islands like Fiji - they don't add much to the cost of the ticket

But as the previous poster said, go and see a real person
