Hopefully I've posted this on the right Board....
Can anyone offer me advice on finding a landline telephone with a headset. Following an operation on my neck/shoulder, using the standard receiver is quite uncomfortable. As I work from home, I am often using the telephone.
My requirements are:
1. I would lilke Caller Display on the telephone
2. I would prefer to have a corded phone with corded headset - for two reasons, firstly I use it when sat at my desk and secondly I am rapidly running out of power sockets, so would prefer not to have anything else to plug in!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Not quite to your specification, though Medion have a Cordless Phone Twin Pack MD5909

They have a socket for the connection a headset.

You might need one of these if you've run out of sockets: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=9828812&x=0&y=0

BT do plenty of "professional office phones" with headset ports and capability, such as the Converse range (Converse 1300 is good, it has caller ID with 200 names and numbers you can store, handsfree button, headset button (headset is optional) etc.
I think Dabs run the BT shop now at:

You need a good headset and these are expensive, probably the cheapest quality one would be around £50. Plantronics make good headsets, have a look around.
Check out www.viking-direct.co.uk for many other options.0 -
Forgot to add that the cordless phones have a speakerphone function too.0

The ones I suggested were corded, not cordless by the way0

Thanks Donnie and isofa for your advice. The Converse 1300 plus a headset looks like it'll do the trick. It even appears to run off batteries...although not sure if it will need power for all of the functions - any idea?0
