i think it could be my overdrafts over the past 12 months, even though i don't have one now, i kept lowering it and then asking for it to be increased so this has gone down as searches..0

Poor approach.i think it could be my overdrafts over the past 12 months, even though i don't have one now, i kept lowering it and then asking for it to be increased so this has gone down as searches..
An overdraft isn't a spending target. Rethinking your approach to borrowing and getting to a stage where you don't just head to the sweetie shop to spend your available limit would be a positive step.0 -
i've always had an overdraft, but last 12 months i've been trying to get on top of it, so i kept lowering it but i wasn't ready to lower so ended up increasing it again and did these 2 or 3 times!,but now i'm finally out my overdraft (have been the past 2 months) and heading in the right direction i shouldn't need one ever again

That would be fantastic progress. Good luck!0 -
If you get a John Lewis or M & S credit card, you get points every time you use the cards which translate into vouchers to spend in their shops (including Waitrose in the case of the John Lewis card). It won't make you rich but they come in handy.0

I suspect they're not options for the OP.0

Sorry, hadn't realised there was a second page. Forget my post about M & S and John Lewis, at least for a couple of years.0

Think i'll just give it around 6 months and see what my credit score is like then, now i no longer have an overdraft it might improve0
